Dryer Cavity Cleaning · OKC Metro

Dryer cavity cleaning

The lint inside your dryer's cabinet — not the vent — is what's burning in most dryer fires. We disassemble the dryer and clear the lint packed around the heating element or burner, then inspect the internal parts while we're in there. The deep cleaning a vent service can't reach.

Why it matters

The fire risk a vent cleaning misses

When a vent or lint screen gets restricted, lint backs up and migrates inside the dryer cabinet — settling on and around the heating element or gas burner. That's the ignition source, and that internal lint is what actually catches in most dryer fires. A vent cleaning clears the duct, but it can't touch the inside of the machine. Clearing the cavity takes a full disassembly — which is exactly this service.

When you need it: heavy lint in the lint-trap slot, a burning smell during drying, a dryer that runs hot, a machine that's never had internal service, or lint we spot around the element on a camera inspection. If you're not sure, our free inspection will tell you.

What's included

Want the vent done too? If your vent also needs cleaning, the Health Check Plus bundles this cavity cleaning with a full vent cleaning, camera inspection, and report for $299 — and saves you $99 versus booking them separately.

Service notes

Cavity cleaning requires full disassembly. Pre-existing wear (brittle belts, aged clips, worn parts) may be found or fail during normal disassembly; we note and report these but don't cause them. Gas dryers: burner-area work is done with added care, and any gas odor stops service and is referred to a licensed gas professional.
